Made in LA 2018

Make sure you don’t miss Made in LA 2018, one of Los Angeles’s most contemporary art exhibitions, now on view at the Hammer Museum. This biennial event represents the cultural diversity of our city and features 33 L.A.-based artists who range in age from 29 to 97. While there is no overarching theme, many of the artists share common interests, offering interpretations of cultural practices, issues of representation and marginalization, reflections on the current political climate and much more.

Experience mass-scale installations as well as paintings, sculpture, video art, photography, and performance. And don’t forget to vote for your favorite artist, as each participant in the exhibition will be eligible for one of three awards: the $100,000 Mohn Award, the $25,000 Career Achievement Award and the $25,000 Public Recognition Award.

Admission is free. Exhibition closes September 2, 2018.
