A new, Sichuan hot chicken eatery is coming to LA’s trendy Silver Lake neighborhood. Nightshade chef Mei Lin’s new project will feature a changing menu, with fried chicken sandwiches on milk bread buns in three different heat levels. The food will be specifically designed for takeout and made from locally sourced ingredients. Daybird is currently set to open in August 2020.
