THE CROWN

Both historic and entertaining, Netflix's The Crown is currently two seasons in, but it is not too late to catch up (and get hooked on) this great show.

STRANGER THINGS

The guilty pleasure of 2016 just finished season 2 last Fall. It’s an 80’s throwback – part thriller, part campy fun.

BIG LITTLE LIES

This has been the most talked-about series as of late, and Season 2 is just about to get underway, so get started on Season 1 if you haven't already!

This show trains its eye on the most skilled and interesting chefs around the world, highlighting their beautiful creations and the dedication and training that go into them.

HOUSE OF CARDS

Juicy and politically-charged, this drama makes you wonder if the truth is worse than the fiction. Very addicting.

GAME OF THRONES

It is never too late to start watching this compelling and entertaining series. If you can handle its extreme violence, sexual content and adult themes, this is the series for you. (Note: This is especially great to start on a long overseas flight!)

FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS

This was an amazing series that ended too soon. Great show.

MAD MEN

Set in the 1960's New York, this period drama presents the complicated, often secretive, lives of Madison Avenue's advertising elite. Gripping and subtly complex, this show will keep you coming back for more - if not just for the gorgeous wardrobe and set designs alone!

PEAKY BLINDERS

Post-WWI England is the setting for this action crime drama, and follows the notorious Shelby crime family and their illicit exploits. A masterfully-created show, now four seasons in, with another season slated to air in 2019. 

THE PATRIOT

This currently-running drama involves undercover guises, nuclear threats and plot twists that will keep you intrigued.   

UNREAL

This is the “real”, scripted behind-the-scenes look at a Bachelor-type show. A very dark, raw depiction of reality TV.

NARCOS

Another real-life inspired drama series, Narcos – coined a 'gritty gangster drama series' by Netflix – focuses on the infamously violent and powerful drug cartels of Colòmbia.

OZARK

Betrayal, suspense and intrigue drive the ever-changing plot of this present day drama. Jason Bateman and Laura Linney shine in this riveting series.  

THE AMERICANS

Uncannily relevant in today's political climate, The Americans combines high-stakes drama with the delicate nature of personal and familial relationships. With six seasons currently under its belt, this Reagan-era drama has been dubbed as the best show on television by multiple media sources. 

ATLANTA

As its namesake implies, this show takes place in the Southern city which is also one of the top cities for young rappers looking to make a name for themselves in the business. Highly innovative in its plot layout and overall creativity, this art-house-style series is taking the television platform by storm.

THE HANDMAID’S TALE

Based on the Dystopian novel by author Margaret Atwood, this award-winning series delves into a future world where totalitarianism and female subjugation are reality, spurring questions about our own societal norms.  

GLOW

The acronymic name, spelled out to mean 'Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling' is a show that follows a dozen or so Hollywood misfits looking to make it big in a unique corner of show business. Created by the team behind 'Orange is the New Black', this comedy series is worth a watch. 

BLACK MIRROR

A dark, a contemporary reworking of 'The Twilight Zone', Black Mirror is a series of suspenseful, satirical and sci-fi inspired stand-alone dramas featuring unique casts for each episode.

ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT

Hilariously funny, this comedy follows a dysfunctional Orange County family through all manner of trials and tribulations, beginning with the family patriarch going to prison for committing white-collar crimes. Watch it chronologically, as there are subtle laugh-out-loud funny references to previous episodes' shenanigans as the seasons go along. 

DAVE CHAPELLE

The iconic comedian makes a noteworthy return from a years-long hiatus from the spotlight, and it does not disappoint. His latest stand-up special, entitled Equanimity & The Bird Revelation, will have you howling. 

Silicon Valley

Find out how the team at Pied Piper continues to battle their competitor Hooli without Erlich Bachman, who was last seen in a Tibetan opium den (actor T.J. Miller has left the show).  Season Five is guaranteed to have more tech start up successes and failures amid hysteria and hysterics.

Marvelous Mrs. Maisel

Set in late-50s New York, Marvelous Mrs. Maisel is the story of a woman whose perfect life immediately comes crashing down around her – and the way in which she deals with it. Extremely funny, this Amazon series won a Golden Globe last year for Best Comedy.
