Tribute Project

What began as a pair of custom, structured “Balmain-esque” wool blazers emblazoned with epaulets and original artwork in a graphic homage to Guns N’ Roses quickly grew by word-of-mouth into the Tribute Project.

The collection of one-of-a-kind bombers, admiral jackets and blazers by Santa Barbara-based founders Jules Allen and Dani Stone, whose friendship was forged through their mutual love of music and killer fashion that accompanies it, is a wearable ode to songs and artists.

Couture pieces are carefully deconstructed and vintage designer finds refashioned with custom linings, lyrics and artwork so that each of their jackets tells a story, of a time and a place in the world of music. Cleverly sewing on patches, album artwork and sometimes song lyrics, Jule and Dani are repurposing fashion while creating one-of-a-kind art. Uniquely made with ethical and sustainable production standards, these recycled jackets are ecologically chic and truly have a story to tell.
