All the Missing Girls by Megan Miranda

All the Missing Girls begins as Nicolette Farrell finally returns to her home town after a lengthy 10 years away. The reason for her distance? A decade earlier, her best friend, Corinne, disappeared and was never heard from again. Nicolette revisits her childhood home simply to tend to her ailing father and help pack up their house. However, after a few days, another girl goes missing and all of Nicolette’s memories come swimming back to her. Everyone has their theories but no one knows the real truth behind what's happening. With twists and turns galore, this mystery is made especially interesting by being told in reverse. Piecing the story together is nearly impossible, and leaves us wondering just how far we would be willing to go to protect those we love.
